As I was looking through all the topics that related to my current problem, I noticed that most people here all have the same problem but nobody has answers. Do people even go on this site anymore? well, i'll try again. ok so here's my problem. I have a verizon lg vx8500. I sent a realtone to my phone and got a url. something along the lines of , http://wap.crostel.com/98674/5035551234/10 , (not my phone number people, just an example). that's ALL i get. and i have no idea how to open it or anything. so, how do i open it, how do i get my realtone? ps. i sent chris brown - forever to my phone. thanks very much people!
I have to repeat this all the time, verizon has very POOR downloading capablities.
The reason you see a lot of people with your same problem is because the have something in
common with you. Verizon!
nobody is answering b/c unless you work for verizon, there is not much you can do except keep sending the ringtones and maybe 30% will arrive on your phone. The other 70% Verizon just drops or randomly deletes.
I use t-mobile and never have a problem. (BTW, the link you posted won't work because the numbers are all wrong)
I have verizon and have never had any probs untill I got the new blackberry storm and I cant get jack from here. Seriously considering going back to my Q. I plan has absolutley everything you can have and no luck with the storm.
