# Posted: 18 Dec 2007 09:15:22 ......and now I can't get ANY ringtones unless they are from Verizon......Jerks! I was having problems with the Mobile Web on my phone (wouldn't stay connected), so when I called Verizon tech support they told me that I needed to have my software "flashed". I had to go down to the Verizon store to have it flashed, and ever since then no more ringtones. They told me that some of the features in the previous software version that I had were removed by Motorola (yeah, right!). I can't even upload to the vzwpix and send it to my phone as a sound and assign it to a callerid anymore. Can't even record a sound and assign it anymore. Oh, and my alarms won't vibrate anymore, the only way to have my alarms vibrate is to turn my sounds off! WHAT A FRICKEN' WASTE OF A PHONE! I am SO PISSED OFF! I HATE VERIZON! Don't let them flash your software! |

# Posted: 18 Dec 2007 15:26:27 Depending on the store, and if the tech is "cool" or not, they should have the older version of the software on the machine they used to flash your phone. Take it back, and ask them to flash it back to the old software. I used to be a tech, so I know it's possible. However, it's been a bit since I worked for Solectron (sub-contracted by Verizon) so I can't confirm if they have more then one version of software for the Razr. |
