# Posted: 22 Jan 2008 14:06:38 I have seen that verizon phones don't usually have the option of saving the "my sounds" as ringtones. I was thinking that we could make some sort of list that had the names of all the phones allowed to transfer a my sound to use as a ringtone. Remember this is Verizon, so I don't want to be seeing cingular or anything up here. |

# Posted: 31 Mar 2008 14:55:56 The LG 9400 does this as well. When the text shows up - you can hit the soft key and tell it to save in my sounds, or my ringtones. Note - if you save it in my sounds, you CAN NOT use it as a ringtone. The only place the phone will find ringtones is in the my ringtones folder. This may help you out too - if you put a file on your sd card (those of you that have phones with them) put it in the my sounds folder. Then, create a picture message, attach the sound you just put on the card to the message, and send the message to your own cell number. When the message comes in, save the attached sound into your my ringtones folder. Kind of a pain to do it this way, but it works for just about every verizon phone that supports mini or micro sd cards. Good luck all! |
