# Posted: 31 May 2007 14:00:01 churka07 Torrent-finder.com is pretty simple once you learn the jist of it. First just type in either the name of the song, band, movie, etc that you are looking for. I will bring up all the results that have the thing you type into your search. To narrow results us "quatation marks" (like so). This will generate the search for specific bands. For instance- Black eyed peas, you would type "black eyed peas" and i would only bring up what what you specifically wanted. Next search throuh the pages to see exactly what you are looking for. Some are titled by artist, album name, some have random titles but look through till you find what you are looking for. (Note: the seeder column must have a number in it. Seeders are what you gain the file from. Therefore the more seeders present the faster it will download for you.) When looking into files by clicking the name under the "filters:" section, Find the Lime green area that is titled "Torrent Download" Click on it. A pop up will appear that will ask to either open or save. (Note: It is best to make a designated folder to put all your download save files in. It makes it much easier.) Press save and place it where ever youcan find it again. Then go to your Bitlord program you downloaded. Press the Open file option and find the file you just saved to your computer, wherever it is. Then just be patient, some seed fast some take a little more time. ANd enjoy your music, movies, games, etc. Hope that helped at all. Sorry if it was too confusing... Is that about its safety such as if it contains viruses? And.. Why do you need the bitlord program to download it if its already saved to your computer? Lastely... Is this legal???? # Posted: 31 May 2007 21:36:01 churka07 ~Don't worry about health. That has nothing to do with virus's. ~You save the downloading file not the downloaded product. You need Bitlord to upload the files and complete the files you want. It takes them from other seeders to give you the finished product. In all actuallity you don't need to save it to your computer. Normall just helps. But you can erase them once the file is completely downloaded. ~Legally, Not sure. Honestly i don't think it is because where else could you get music, movies, games, etc. for free... Now there are paid services like itunes and others, to pay for each song. You pay nothing using torrents. So i don't have a staight forward answer... But honestly, the service they provide, I don't think it can be legal. But you can always check with them- Email them, Contact, call, and see what they say to you. I don't really know. ~Dave~ |
