# Posted: 13 Aug 2007 11:34:44 Now that I have figured out how to upload ringtones onto the website.. I am able to send them to my phone. When I send them to my phone though they are all like weired and seemed muttered... but yet they sound absolutely perfect on the website.. is there any reason for it doing this? Any other ringtone I download onto my phone from somebody else though sounds fine on my phone.. is there any reason for this? |

# Posted: 1 Feb 2008 08:01:57 it could possible be that the speaker(s) on your phone can't handle the highs and lows that are on your phone. When I initially started making tones I would mostly soften the low frequencies because I assumed my phone would sound that way if I left the mp3s fully intact with their full range. In time I have found my phone sounds fine with all the frequencies (it just doesn't try to play what it can't, but my friends phone with the same tone will sound muffled. You can try some of my ring tones and see if any of them do sound better (the ones toward the top are the ones that have been more modified like that) and if they do sound better that is your problem....but like I said my friends phone they do sound muffled still. it could also be a volume issue- that I have not figured out how to troubleshoot yet. (volume on my phone is great, my friend it is much quieter for) |
