TracFone is blocking the MP3 ringtones, or realtones as they are refered to here, from downloading from any site except there own web site. TracFone is blocking the MP3's from downloading through email and USB ports. About the only way you are going to get a realtone is to buy it from TracFone's site. You will should be able to receive the text message with the link for the realtones but when you go to the url you will get a http:404 error. If you download the MP3 to your pc and email it to your phone TracFone will strip it out of the email. I have tried several other free ringtone sites and it is the same with them all. TracFone will not let you receive them unless they are from there web site. You can download the midi ringtones and pic's from here though. I know that's not what you wanted to hear, but nobody has found a solution for this yet. |
