Recently got a Motorola C261 Tracfone. I'm pretty impressed so far. Anyone else have one? What do you think? Have you figured out anything out of the ordinary (beyond what's in the manual) for it yet?

Yeah it is great. I just got one too. The free ringtones here are great.

You need to use "ringtones" instead of the mp3 "realtones" for your phone model.
Here is how to troubleshoot a ringtone delivery problem:
1) Have a friend send a text message from thier phone to yours. Did you get it?
2) Send a text message from Crostel to your phone. Did you get it?
3) Send a picture message from Crostel to your phone. Did you get it?
4) Send a ringtone to your phone from Crostel. Did you get it?
5) Send an mp3 realtone to your phone. Did you get it?
6) Type the wap address for a picture into your phones web browser (ex. wap.crostel.com/24464 ). Did you get it?
7) Repeat for a ringtone wap address.
8) Repeat for a mp3 realtone wap address.
Most people do not have to do these steps listed above, because it works fine just by clicking the SEND button.
In your case, I am pretty sure that the c261 cannot get mp3 realtones but I think the rest should work.
