Hi,
I have been trying to send my phone realtones. Each time i recieve them i get an error message that "one or more message componets have been deleted by MMS adaption". I figure that since I have been able to recieve Ringtones, which are .mid files that the problem is in the file type. Does anyone know how to convert the .mp3 to a .mid, or is it a simple as renaming the file.
Also does anyone know how to email a file to a cell phone. I have heard that some motorolas have an email address of yourphone number @mmmobile.com but havent been able to get it to work on my motorola v176. Even though it is a trac phone, apparently the actual service provider is at&t for my area.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Ok so i just found out how dumb my questions was. So I guess my actual question is how can you tell what type of music/ringtone files a phone supports? I have figured out how to chop up mp3's into 20-30 seconds of music. But not sure what file i should convert it to. If that makes sense.

Ok found the answer under ringtones. Posted it in case anyone else is as crazy as me. lol
TailsPrower86, Unfortunately TracFone does not support any MP3 Realtones yet. This is a limitation with thier phones. For now only MIDI Ringtones will work
