So, got a Motorola V170 here, from Tracfone, the initial 'Test' SMS didn't work at all, but I know I can receive them because of the fact I tested them myself with an email based SMS send, and that I got a -partial- download of a ring tone from here sent.

The issue is this, I tried downloading several different ring tones, and rather than even downloading a good portion of the ringtone, I get about 120-128 bytes of it, so literally getting only like 2 seconds roughly of the ring tone before it just cuts off.

Now, tried searching the forums for similar issues to this, but couldn't find the right keywords to look for I guess cause it wouldn't match any results, but I can't figure I've been the only one with this issue.

Now, rather than actually being a 'Midi' track though on this note (like all the integrated 'melodies'), my phone is showing them as 'iMelody', could this have anything else to do with it?

Save them as ringtones. When you go to play them after they've been saved they'll play in full

See the problem is, when you are previewing the tracks, if you copy the URL that shows in the little flash media player, that has the full string ending in .mp3, paste that into your address bar, and change the file extension to .mid you can find the midi, but if you change it to .imy, you'll find exactly what its sending me, only like a 120-128 byte track.

Only thing I can see is 'Extract Media' in my SMS messages options when I open a message.
