I'm new to this site, and I have a Tracfone Motorola V170. I tried to do the phone test, and it didnt work. I know its possible for me to do text messaging cuz i did it this morning with AIM. i can also text from the left side of the screen to my phone but cant reply back to crostel. i also got a test ringtone from the Tracfone website and it worked. but on here i can't get any ringtones. what's going on?

I can text back to crostel. i didn't see the thing that said i have unread messages! :) but I still can't get ringtones and have no compatibility.

The test thing failed for my Motorola V170 also, I think due to how it tries and send it out on that.
As for the ring tones, when trying to download one, choose the whole 'Got an older phone' option or whatever it says, and make sure 'Motorola SMS' is selected from the drop down box.
Take note though you'll likely have the same issue I'm having, which is its not actually downloading the proper midi file, as much as a 120 some byte .imy file which only gives like a 2 second ring tone :/

thanks, but I actually tried that already, and it hasn't worked. have you gotten the full ringtone before? maybe the system is down.

now i'm getting that ".imy" file too with a really short ringtone. at least it's an improvement! :/ LOL!
