All righty, I have been searching forever for a site that can actually help those on Tracfone who suffer from the "not available in your area...sorry!" message when it comes to trying to acquire ringtones from their site.

Secondly, a little issue with mine and as I've noticed from perusing the forums for the last half hour, it's pretty common.

Having tested text messaging three times on here, it states I'm unable to, yet, using text in general IS working. In networking, I don't know if I should have it on Digital preference, Digital only or Analog only to be able to use this service.

I'd truly like to use this site and have positive feedback to tell others about who I know in person who would adore this service, so the sooner I get help the better in my eyes. :)

Any/all information needed I'll be more than happy to supply.

Just an update, I did the older phone bit and can receive the midi files however, they're not coming out exactly as they should. Some are just coming out as high pitched beeps. But beyond that, I'm still tinkering. Again, I'd love some help.

Please list your phone make and model. It sounds like your phone is too old to use the newer ringtones and wallpapers.

Monophonic midi ringtones will work if you select "older phone" and then "nokia" when downloading. Good phones are getting cheap though so you should try to upgrade. BTW, to test a phone before you buy it, type "wap.crostel.com" into the browser and then search for a ringtone like "nelly". If it does not play in the phone AND let you save it as a ringtone, then keep looking.
