# Posted: 26 Jul 2006 21:26:33 I'm not having any luck downloading ringtones to the Motorola C139 TracFone? First... is this possible?? If so, is there a tutorial or can someone give a total newb like me some hand-holding through the process? I was able to successfully send a ringtone to my phone (selected Motorola SMS) and the phone displayed... "Play ringtone?", but it sounded horrible (nothing like a ringtone). Thanks!! |

# Posted: 27 Jul 2006 01:09:15 Some ringtones sound better than others. I am working on a rating system so people can complain if a ringtone sounds bunk on the phone. This way you can see if other people liked a ringtone before you send it to your phone. |

# Posted: 28 Jul 2006 10:56:45 Thanks for the reply. I tried the ringtone, "Take Me On", and at least it sounded like a ringtone and not an unintelligible series of beeps. The ringtone capability of this phone is severely lacking :-( Oh well, what do you want for 20 bucks. |

# Posted: 19 Apr 2008 13:31:38 The "Older Phone" option discussed here is no longer available. This is where you would choose motorola or nokia and it would send ringtones to older tracfone and net10 phones. Well, really they not great ringtones anyway. Just a bunch of beeps. If you have one of these older tracfones with no internet capability- please upgrade. (sorry for the inconvenience... very few people are using these phones now so I had to stop supporting them.) |
