# Posted: 11 Dec 2007 11:51:15 I noticed that the charge plug for the Motorola W370's happens to be the same as a plug for regular USB cables that hooks up to computers... I also heard it's possible to upload pictures and such for wallpapers rather than dowloading them (which can cost a good deal of minutes) When you go to change things like Wallpaper there is another option besides "preloaded and downloaded" called "Additional Storage Device" How do you upload things like wallpaper to the phone instead of downloading for $$.. i have a USB cable and plugged it into my phone but programs that allow me to upload things from anything else (such as mp3 players or digi cams) won't let me upload to my phone... so what's the process?? I'm not too fimilar with tracfones, let alone my version so if anyone has any idea please give me as much detailed information a possible. |

# Posted: 18 Dec 2007 09:44:22 So far as I can tell, tracfone has the port locked down pretty tightly and motorola doesn't have any drivers to get the computer to recognize the phone :-( I am wondering if it's possible to upload directly to the sim card (via a sim card reader) anyone have luck with that? Until I find out if someone else was able to make it work, I'll keep trying ways to slip a realtone ringtone in via email by disguising it as a midi. I'll let you know if that pans out. |

I got a driver from Motorola but it wouldn't work because the w370 doesn't have an SD memory card that xp can recognize it as a drive. That's the reason I came here... I don't think Tracfone wants you to be able to load content from your computer and I suspect that's why the installed content is locked so you can't delete it, and you can only navigate to their store. |
