I uploaded a ringtone from Net10 that is 4 my phone (Motorola v176), and it uploaded 2 this site fine, but when i send it 2 my phone,it charges me,but says "Failed"!!!! Any reasons why this would happen, or is it just that Net10 only allows ringtones from them directly.?!?

I Tried 2 download a net10 ringtone i uploaded 2 this site, from their site.. i added 3 mp3 ringtones that is from Net10 and made for my phone, in other words available 4 purchase ($1.99) , from here ($.35) , much better deal, the poly ringtones i have no problem with, they work just fine , also the pictures r excellent from this site. The message i recieved when downloaded from here is as follows: One or more of the message componentshave been deleted by MMS Adaptation. Either the message was too large or the components were unsuitable for your terminal.
I think the song i tried was Twisted Transistor in "my space" files area.

Bre2006-
I fixed all the motorola monophonic ringtones "sms_motorola" so that the preview you hear on the website is the same as what you will hear on your phone. This way, if you like the ringtone on the site, you can be pretty sure it will sound the same on your phone.
Abnormally short monophonic ringtones can be caused by the midi file that was uploaded but usually it is due to the limitations in some of the motorola phone models made by net10 and tracfone.
Just listen to the ringtones before sending to your phone and you should be OK.

Gigalo-
I get the same error when I try that file from my net10 v176. I'll try to see what is happening.
(BTW, just to be clear for the people reading... The credits that are deducted on your phone are from your carrier. Crostel has nothing to do with that. We don't charge you anything and don't make anything from the carriers.)

Thanks Doug, as i will b tryin' other ways also,.........."testing"
-- The amount that is deducted from your phone is from Net10 (The Carrier)...Not Costel.. They charge 2.50 mins of airtime = $.25 cents, for data transfer, and then the 1 min of airtime =$.10 cents, for the min u r downloading from the web. Means $.35 cents a ringtone or picture-- This means Net10 sells the the ringtone for $1.99 this is 19.9 mins of airtime deducted automatically...haven't tried it , but i'm thinking it's a min or two also deucted for download airtime, or mayb even another 2.50 mins for data transfer, or BOTH!!!!
