Crostel forum / Net10 / How can I listen to ringtone when it is sent? |

# Posted: 5 Jan 2008 16:48:00 I sent a ringtone to my w375 and in the messege it says "one or more of the messege components have been deleted MMS adaption" then it gives me a link, am I soposed to go to the link or do the ringtones just not work on my phone? |

# Posted: 6 Jan 2008 01:06:22 You can try the link, but you will probably be wasting your minutes doing so. I have TracFone W370 and it does the same thing. I went to the link and I got a http:404 error, at least I think that's what the error was. TracFone has blocked all internet access through the web browser except for there site and content. I am assuming that Net10 is doing the same thing since basically Net10 and TracFone are the same thing. I have tried several other sites and the mp3's won't go through either. Since you have Net10 you might try funformobile.com It's also a free site, but I can't download the MP3's from there either. On funformobile.com you have the choice to download to your PC and then you can email the MP3 to your phone. I tried that and TracFone stripped it out of the email. Gave me that MMS adaption crap also. If Net10 is like TracFone the only thing that you are going to be able to download from any site except Net10 is MIDI tones. TracFone does allow those to download through text messages and Net10 ahould also. I know that isn't what you wanted to hear as like myself you probably bought your phone so you could download MP3's, not just MIDI's. At least I can download any wallpaper or pic's that I want to. If by some chance you or anyone else finds a work around for this PLEASE post it here. I know that I and many others would appreciate it very much. |

# Posted: 6 Jan 2008 10:49:33 Thanks for the help ill try to send one as an email. I probably wont have any luck knowing that net10 has blocked everything even using the usb...I wont give up though there has to be a way to do this and ill try as hard as I can to try to find that way. |
