PhoneZoo.com will let you download the ringtone to your PC then you can email it to your phone.

Be sure to read the help and faq's section to understand how to do this.

You can find out what your phones email address is by sending an email to your PC from your phone.

PhoneZoo is a good site, never had any problems with it. Has a lot of good ringtones.

I tried that and sent it as an attachment to my phone and I downloaded it when it came on my phone but then when it was done it said this could not be downloaded because of mms adaption. Do you know why it says this? Also when I downloaded it, it went to my itunes so it was a MP3 file is that OK?

I had an idea it might do that since you are using Net10. I use TracFone and it does the same thing. They are basically the same company, just use different names. Net10 is stripping the ringtone out of the email. They will not let you download a MP3 ringtone except from there own web site, just like TracFone does. They are blocking the MP3's from downloading so you will be wasting your time and minutes trying to get a MP3 tone from anywhere except Net10's web site. They also have the phones blocked from using a usb cable to download them straight to your phone from your pc. They do this so you will have to buy there ringtones.

I finally gave in and bought a MP3 tone from TracFone. It wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be. It just cost me 10 minutes and that included the time it took to download it. That's the reason I bought my phone so I could download MP3 tones so I had to buy one.

Yes, it was ok for the file to go to your iTunes folder.

You're lucky, Littlem129. For the last 5 years tracfone has 'promised' ring tones to our area and if you ask them, they say it's not even going to be available here.

I did discover that if someone has a tone on their phone they can send it to a blocked tracfone (ie the v170 evilness) so if anyone wants the midi for the smurfs or valley of the king, I can send it to you)

I know it's not like having popular stuff, but it'll give you something new to have for a tone on your phone.

I'm wary of giving out my phone number to a free service. Try http://makeownringtone.com it's usually pretty good for me and it doesn't require to create an account.

aerix:

Would you be willing to help me test getting a polyphonic ringtone on a Net10 LG200C? I'd really like to get one or two, but can't download directly from this site...
