I just wasted minutes trying to download "pop bottles-birdman" and it didn't even work.
The message I got said
"One or more of the message components have been deleted by MMS Adaption. Either the message was too large or the components were unsuitable for your terminal." http://wap.crostel.com/56391/6166660407/97

Does this mean none of the ringtones will work?

It means none of the MP3 realtones will work. Net10 is blocking all sites except there own for MP3 tones downloads. They are doing this so you will have to buy the ringtone from there web site. You can download the midi tones ringtones from here and the pic's just not the MP3 realtones. TracFone is doing the same thing. I'm not sure about Net10 but TracFone has there phones blocked from downloading from a USB cable from the PC to the phone also, Net10 is probably doing the same thing. Net10 and TracFone are basically the same company. About the only difference between the two is Net10 has cheaper minute rates.

The MP3 ringtones from TracFone does not cost that much to buy, but we should have the choice to download whatever we want to from where ever we want to, but we don't. I didn't know about this until I bought my TracFone Motorola W370. They should specify on there site about this, but they don't. You find out when you try to download a free MP3 tone.
