How free is Crostel:

Crostel is absolutely 100% free for noncommercial use.


TracFone and Net10 Ringtone Support - Updated - April 2006!

Good news- if you can receive a text message on your TracFone or Net10, you can get Ringtones! All midi ringtones on this site work if you select your phone model (motorola sms or nokia sms). The only exception is the v120 phone which cannot receive ringtones except by typing them in.

TracFone:

To find ringtones for your TracFone, just select any MIDI ringtone and select "nokia_sms" or "motorola_sms" to send the monophonic version to your phone. For more information see the TracFone ringtone FAQ. Updated: Newer TracFone and Net10 models are working with the internet/wap delivery at Crostel to get polyphonic ringtones and color pictures.

TracFones cannot receive mobile wallpapers.
New TracFone models now work with the Polyphonic ringtones at Crostel!!! Also color picture messaging is working here for the newer TracFone models.

Net10:

To find ringtones for your Net10, just select any MIDI ringtone and select "nokia_sms" or "motorola_sms" to send the monophonic version to your phone. For more information see the Net10 ringtone FAQ.

Net10 phones cannot receive mobile wallpapers.

Cingular:

All cingular phone models are supported for MIDI ringtones uploaded to this site.

If your phone has internet or WAP support, you can download the MIDI file by selecting "wap_phone" and you will receive the polyphonic version of the ringtone.

AudioTones are ringtones made from mp3 or wav music files. An internet capable phone such as a WAP phone is required and the phone must support real-voice type ringtones.

All Cingular phones work with Crostel mobile wallpapers. No special monthly plan is needed for downloads.

T-Mobile:

All T-Mobile phone models are supported for MIDI ringtones uploaded to this site.


If your phone has internet or WAP support, you can download the MIDI file by selecting "wap_phone" and you will receive the polyphonic version of the ringtone.

Verizon phones have been been tested to work with MIDI and AUDIOTONE ringtones uploaded to this site. Important: You need a special plan from Verizon to download content. The PIX MESSAGING plan from Verizon is required or else the downloaded ringtones and pictures will not make it to your phone. If you do not order this plan your content will get stuck on the verizon website and will not reach your phone.

All Verizon phones work with Crostel mobile wallpapers. (As with the ringtones, you need the Verizon Pix messaging package added to your phone.)

Sprint:

Sprint phones have been tested to work with MIDI and AUDIOTONE ringtones uploaded to this site.

All Sprint phones work with Crostel mobile wallpapers.
